“Have You Seen Andy?” is Melanie Perkins directorial debut.

She began her career in television production with the longest-running series on public television, NOVA. After working on the films "Private Lives of Dolphins” and "Rescuing Whales", Ms. Perkins moved on to the nationally acclaimed, award-winning historical documentary series, The American Experience. She was the Associate Producer for the film "Amelia Earhart", a recipient of numerous awards including a Cine Gold Eagle from the National Education Film and Video Festival and a Golden Apple from the Chicago International Film Festival. She was also the Associate Producer for The American Experience critically acclaimed film, "The Wright Brothers" broadcast on PBS in January of 1996.

More recently, Ms. Perkins was the co-producer for "The Science of Security" a program for The Discovery Channel's Discover Magazine series. She was also the Associate Producer, receiving Additional Directing credit, for the NOVA four- part series "Escape!" which aired internationally in January of 1999.

Ms. Perkins was the Coordinating Producer for the multi-million dollar project, TimeLab 2000, a series hosted by Sam Waterston for The History Channel. She was the Senior Producer for the Boston based company, Smash and is currently a freelance producer and consultant recently having worked with the ABC News investigative series, PrimeTime Live and the PBS’ four-part series, “The War That Made America” while producing and fundraising for, “Have You Seen Andy?”.


Rachel Clark is a Boston-based editor who has worked for PBS, the History Channel, Errol Morris, National Geographic, and the Discovery Channel. She has edited independent documentaries as well as commercials, corporate videos and television programs. Recently, Ms. Clark was nominated for an Emmy for her work on
the WGBH series, LaPlaza.


John Kusiak composes music for film, television, advertising and live performance. He has composed music for hundreds of projects, including television documentaries (American Experience, National Geographic), large-screen exhibitions (Yellowstone National Park and the Smithsonian) and feature films (additional music for the 2004 Academy Award winning documentary, The Fog of War). Other projects have included two seasons of First Person, a television series directed by Errol Morris and chosen by Time as one of the 10 best series of 2000, The Fool of the World, a work for woodwind quintet and narrator and commercials for United Airlines, Quaker Oats and Mastercard.


Stephen McCarthy has over twenty years' experience in non-fiction filmmaking. His work has appeared in prime-time documentary series on PBS, Discovery, The BBC,
Channel Four Television, HBO, the History Channel and more. Recently
completed work includes "The Persuaders" for FRONTLINE, "Boy in The
Bubble" for The American Experience, "Audubon" for American Masters,
"Ten Days That Unexpectedly Changed America" for The History Channel and
alpinist David Breashears' forthcoming "Everest 1996" for Working Title/Universal. He also shot director Marco Williams' "Banished" which was accepted into the 2007 Sundance Film Festival's documentary competition. Mr. McCarthy is currently working on a five part PBS series on Native American history entitled "We Shall Remain."
